DLR Group Welcomes Business Developer Maria Wilpon

Maria Wilpon has joined DLR Group as a Principal and business development leader for the firm’s Cultural+Performing Arts and Higher Education practices. Working collaboratively with DLR Group design teams, Maria is responsible for strategic planning and execution of new business pursuits.

Wilpon brings a unique perspective to DLR Group, having practiced as both a licensed architect and business developer. Her diverse background in both public and private market sectors, coupled with her design abilities, has helped shape outcomes that add value to people’s lives and promote a sustainable future.

Remaining active in organizations and associations keeps Wilpon in tune with the current state of the industry. She is a board member of the Salvadori Center, and PWC National Association of Professional Women in Construction. She also is a member of the Society for College and University Planning, the American Institute of Architects, and the New York Building Congress.
