An integrated project team, included DLR Group’s Richard Becksted, will share lessons learned on a 485,000-GSF health education campus that will house the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, as well as Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, and School Nursing. The facility was designed to train future dentists, doctors, and nurses under one roof to encourage integrated healthcare practice and delivery. In particular, the campus team will cover ways that lean tools enhanced levels of trust and accountability within the team to meet a fast-track approach that kept the design and material procurement process slightly ahead of construction.
