Griff Davenport, AIA

Griff Davenport joined DLR Group in 1980. He has worked in several DLR Group offices during his career and founded the Minneapolis office in 1989. Griff was instrumental in growing the firm’s K-12 market share and award winning design expertise in the Midwest. In 2004, Griff turned his focus to growth and development of DLR Group’s Higher Education+Sports practice.

Named managing principal in 2005, Griff collaborates with firm leaders and DLR Group’s Marketing Forum to craft the firm’s business and marketing strategy. Additionally he works closely as a mentor with Midwestern offices and the K-12 and Higher Education+Sports Forums. Based in Minneapolis, he spends time in each DLR Group office to mentor DLR Group’s next generation of leaders.

Dale Hallock, AIA

Dale Hallock joined DLR Group in 1972 and has been instrumental in shaping DLR Group’s brand for more than 35 years. A managing principal since 1984, Dale has guided DLR Group through a phenomenal period of financial growth with the firm moving into new areas of practice expertise and geographic markets.

Based in Omaha, Dale continues to drive growth for DLR Group through national new business pursuits and acquisitions. He is an active with the World Presidents Organization and numerous civic organizations in Omaha.

Bryce Pearsall, FAIA, LEED AP

Bryce Pearsall’s professional career has been with DLR Group, beginning in Omaha in 1971. He carried the DLR Group flag to Phoenix in 1979, and was named a managing principal in 1985. DLR Group’s design vision has been guided by Bryce for more than 25 years and today he is championing the firm’s embrace of the 2030 Challenge.

Bryce continues to work from DLR Group’s Phoenix office. He is the current Chair of the American Institute of Architects Large Firm Roundtable, and a board member of the American Architectural Foundation.

Jon Pettit, AIA, LEED AP

Jon Pettit has been instrumental in leading DLR Group’s growth and mentoring its next generation of leaders. Joining the firm in 1977, he was essential in building DLR Group’s education design reputation in the Northwest. Jon guided the office’s integration of a major acquisition and led the growth of the firm’s corporate sector nationwide to triple in size during a seven year period.

He was named managing principal in 2005, and works from the Seattle office. He guides the West Coast offices of DLR Group and is responsible for the DLR Group’s Justice, Corporate, and Practice Forums.

Greg Hollenkamp, AIA, LEED AP

Senior Principal, Venture Forum Leader

Greg Hollenkamp will lead the combined firms’ growth strategies in the Federal, Healthcare, Native American, and Senior Housing markets and the firm’s China pursuits. His career spans 36 years in the area of private development and this experience adds depth to the DLR Group leadership team.

He joined KKE Architects in 1984, and became a shareholder of the firm in 1986. In 1996, he assumed the roles of president and CEO focusing on the creation of opportunities for personal and professional fulfillment of KKE staff. In 2007, he stepped down from day-to-day management responsibilities, continuing as CEO to lead strategic initiatives for the firm.

Tom Gerster, AIA, NCARB

Senior Principal, Regional Leader

Tom Gerster will become the regional leader for DLR Group’s operations in the Upper Midwest including Illinois and Minnesota, and work closely with DLR Group leadership to integrate KKE operations into the firm.

Tom joined KKE Architects in 1981, was named a Principal in 1986, chief operating officer in 2004, and president in 2007. He has spent his 30 year career in the private development practice area on corporate and commercial projects while leading many of the KKE’s design build projects.
