Catherine Meng

Catherine received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and is a licensed architect in California and New York.  Before joining DLR Group, she worked at architecture firms in Shanghai and New York City, where she led and designed projects ranging from high-end single-family residences to multi-family housing, as well as workplace and commercial design.

As a project manager, Catherine is involved in virtually all aspects of the project process.  Stemming from having managed building projects of all sizes from design through completion, she brings to DLR Group the mindset that no task is too small nor too important for anyone.

“Beautiful spaces do not just magically appear. They are the product of both great ideas and hard work. In this industry, there are so many unknowns and things out of your control – but one thing you absolutely can control is how much passion and effort you put into your work.”

In addition to her work as an architect, Catherine is active in the San Francisco community.  She serves as a mentor for the ACE Mentor Program for aspiring high school designers who hope to enter the architecture and construction field, as well as on the board of the Northern California Cornell Alumni Association.
