Chris is a talented designer whose enthusiasm for developing spaces to inspire people has driven his career at DLR Group. He is very hands-on with clients, finding ways to convincingly convey the project vision through parti-sketches, drawings, physical models and BIM renderings.

"I enjoy the experience of working alongside some of the greatest people I know and the experiences we can create through design. It is very satisfying when you come full circle on a project and it starts and finishes with a smile."

Chris is an award-winning designer with expertise in delivering educational projects like the American River College Culinary Arts expansion and modernization, River City High School and Rosemont High School in Sacramento, and Boulder Creek High School and Faith North School in Phoenix.

"Tom O'Neil has had tremendous influence on my career. I have worked with Tom for many years on K-12 projects and learned so much. For instance, he taught me not take a bottle of Dr. Pepper to an interview, or any beverage for that matter."

Chris is very active in the AIA Central Valley chapter and within the Sacramento architectural community. He has served as Associate Director for the Executive Board of Directors and participated in the Design Awards Committee, Architecture Festival Committee and Soul of the City Design Dialogues.
