Heather is a champion of environmental stewardship, serving as a member of DLR Group’s Sustainability Forum. Her commitment to design is driven by her love of creating spaces that positively impact end users as part of integrated design teams for projects across DLR Group.
“One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is going back to a project that I’ve worked on to witness and listen to testimonials of how the design has positively influenced the users’ daily lives.”
Heather brings her collaborative spirit to projects across DLR Group’s diverse portfolio, contributing to design solutions for the firm’s Higher Education, K-12 Education, and Sports Studios. Throughout each project, she strives to inform clients on the depth of benefits of sustainable design, from economics and reduced environmental impact to impact on healthy living. Examples of Heather’s work include Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s Education Building, the University of Virginia’s Baseball Stadium renovation, and the new Nebraska Organ Recovery Headquarters building.
