Heather is a champion of environmental stewardship, and serves as a member of DLR Group’s Sustainability Forum. Her commitment to design is driven by her love of creating spaces that positively impact end users as part of integrated design teams for projects across DLR Group.
“One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is going back to a project that I’ve worked on to witness testimonials of how the design has positively influenced users’ daily lives.”
Heather brings her collaborative spirit to projects across DLR Group’s diverse portfolio, contributing to design solutions for the firm’s K-12 Education, Sports, and Workplace Studios. Throughout each project, she strives to inform clients on the depth of benefits of sustainable design, from economics and reduced environmental impact to impacts on healthy living. Examples of Heather’s work include the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s Education Building, the University of Virginia’s Baseball Stadium renovation, and the new Nebraska Organ Recovery Headquarters building.
