"The best part of my job is seeing a project come to life. There is nothing more gratifying and fulfilling than seeing students get excited and use the spaces we spend so much time and energy to design."
Ian is a multifaceted designer specializing in K-12 education projects. Designing from the inside out, Ian has a passion for shaping learning environments that encourage student engagement and motivation. It is his core belief that the design of sustainable spaces students occupy every day can be as vital to their well-being as modern day medicine.
"Sustainable design is not just the future, it is the only future. Advancing the understanding of sustainability in our clients is critical in reaching goals of net zero design, and we have an inherent responsibility to design all buildings sustainably."
He played a key role designing the renovations and additions at Salina South High School and Central High School and has worked on projects in California, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Texas. One of Ian's favorite projects is the transformation of an existing grocery store facility into an early education center, serving young students in Kearney, Mo.
