“I flourish in environments where I meet new people and empower them to achieve their visions. Working in the K-12 Education sector constantly surrounds me with people I admire.”
Juliana leads marketing and business development efforts for K-12 education markets in Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. In this role, she enjoys collaborating with educators and administrators to enable them to design spaces that promote their districts’ core values. Her favorite aspect of the design and construction process of a new school is creating science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) spaces for students to explore.
Juliana is active in the community, serving as a board member for the Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation and Agua Fria Foundation. She also is active in the Scottsdale Art’s young leaders group, Avant Guard on 2nd Street, which promotes arts in the community. Juliana is the co-creator of the annual Arizona Shop to Give fundraising event benefitting the Homeless Youth Connection, which provides services for 2,000+ homeless Arizona high school students.
“Only 7 percent of all esteemed architects elected to the Fellowship program by the AIA for making a significant contribution to architecture and society have been women. I am fortunate to work alongside Pam Loeffelman, FAIA, to elevate design and pedagogy for education clients in the Southwest.”
