Karen focuses on K-12 marketing and business development to meet the needs of students, teachers and communities in school districts across Oregon. She is an experienced architect and facilities planner and has developed a demonstrated expertise in leading the programming, planning, educational specifications, state study and survey processes. She excels in community engagement, providing media relations, planning and design workshop facilitation, outreach programs, and community presentations.

Karen’s recent work includes pre-bond planning, bond assistance, and educational specifications development for more than 25 school districts in the Northwest, including a master plan for Helena School District in Montana; surveying, pre-bond planning, and educational specifications for Tahoma School District; and master plan and community outreach for Pleasant Hill School District in Oregon.
