"DLR Group has such a deep and rich history. The firm has a beautiful portfolio of respected icons like Seattle's Space Needle, iconic high rise buildings in cities around the world, and many decades of experience with Boeing. That history and culture informs the amazing design that my peers here are doing today."
Larry's recent work includes collaborating with a developer to master plan a new sustainable eco-tourism development around ecologically valuable wetlands area in China; designing a mixed-use entertainment expansion to a major shopping mall in Beijing; and the design for an adaptive-reuse of the former Yang Shu Pu coal power plant in Shanghai into a mixed-use development offering education, exhibit, office, and retail functions exhibiting best practices in sustainability and high performance design.
