Mike is a detail-oriented architect skilled at design, details, and documentation. He is an expert in specifications and construction administration. Owners and contractors appreciate his thoughtful and thorough approach to project coordination, his willingness to listen to concerns and questions, and his ability to provide options and communicate key ideas to enable informed decision-making.
Mike's recent experience includes the Marysville Getchell Campus, an innovative academy based high school which received the Association for Learning Environments James D. MacConnell award as the outstanding K-12 design in the country. He also worked with Lake Washington School District on a 550-student replacement elementary school, designed and phased to allow safe construction around ongoing activity in the existing building. He collaborated with the Boeing team in completing multiple lab, support and freezer spaces fulfilling stringent operational requirements aligned with R&D needs and lean manufacturing processes.
