Martin is a key member of the DLR Group global Justice+Civic Studio. He specializes in programming, pre-design, and schematic design for criminal justice related facilities, such as jails, prisons, local justice centers, and courts. He has devoted the past decade of his professional career to working with municipal, state, and federal clients, and clients in the private sector, to advance innovation and delivery of justice facilities.

Martin has worked on justice facilities across the country. He was project manager for the new Hancock County Public Safety Complex in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, which provided a new a sheriff's department, county jail, and court to replace a facility completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Martin was the design leader for the renovation of the 12-story Clark County Detention Center North Tower in Las Vegas, and has played a key role in multiple designs for the Corrections Corporation of America.
