“I love having the ability to impact the creative process integral to education of future generations.”
Pam leads DLR Group’s K-12 practice in the Southwest, elevating education for local school districts in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Wyoming. For more than 35 years Pam has been actively engaged in a dialogue about the return on investment of educational designs. She believes a combination of economic, social, and pedagogy trends, along with benchmarking can better shape the built environment so as to engage, and inspire students, educators, and local communities.
“I have always been a big picture person. I understand and appreciate the realities of working with complex teams and a diverse staff be it strategic planning, pursuing work, or getting the job done. I enjoy collaborating with people in a setting where everyone contributes and mentors each other. I believe this is especially important in these rapidly changing times of the 21st century.”
Pam has served multiple leadership roles within the industry, including AIA National Vice President and on the board of multiple AIA Knowledge Communities. She also is an active member of the American Architecture Foundation (AAF) since participating in the initial AAF Mayor’s Institute on School Design in 2005 in Washington, D.C.
