Design Achievement - DLR Group has captured and integrated the latest advancements and best features of minor league ballparks into Provident Bank Park in Ramapo, New York. A core design goal was to create multiple unique viewing and hospitality options for fans. A wide concourse encircles the field, allowing fans to experience numerous viewing neighborhoods throughout the facility. Dugout suites and batting cage seating bring the fans close to the players while porch seating, tiered seating, and a field view plaza bar offer opportunities to socialize throughout the stadium. The new ballpark is situated on top of a ridge overlooking nearby mountains. It is a regional asset and destination point for people throughout the Lower Hudson Valley. Provident Bank Park is designed to serve as a multi-purpose park hosting local college, high school, and amateur baseball as well as lacrosse, soccer, concerts, and other community events.

Scope Summary - Provident Bank Park provides 3,500 seats with a mix of 22-inch wide seats behind home plate with 20-inch wide seats throughout the remainder of the ballpark. Home plate is only 49 feet from the backstop placing fans right into the action. The design added an extra three inches to the seating row height to give fans a better view of the action on the field.  Seating options include a dugout suite, 11 loge boxes near the infield, 16 luxury suites, and grass berm seating. Fan amenities include a team store, 1,200 SF community room, food court, full service restaurant, kids play zone, and indoor batting cages. DLR Group provided architecture, engineering, and interior design.
