DLR Group Hires National Renewable Energy Leader
(CHARLOTTE, May 31, 2022) — Wesley Davis has been hired as the National Renewable Energy Leader for DLR Group. Davis is responsible for managing the engineering teams across the firm delivering renewable energy solutions through a variety of services including energy analysis and modeling, optimizing photovoltaic plant design, site assessment and configurations, project management and detailed electrical design. He joins as a Principal.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Davis will also develop new client relationships while supporting the existing renewable projects, mentoring staff, and recruiting engineering talent.

With over 25 years of experience in full life-cycle electric distribution planning, design, and operations, Davis was the former director of renewable energy operations at Duke Energy Corporation. He has worked in partnership with several national laboratories, universities, solar developers, and regulatory agencies to deliver innovative electric distribution system technology with high penetration of renewable energy and deployment of microgrids
