Cal was founding principal of Bowie Gridley Architects in 1981, and served as Principal in Charge on numerous projects. His experience includes campus master plans, academic, arts and athletic centers, libraries, and residential life facilities at leading national schools and universities.

A Fellow of the AIA, Bill has more than 35 years of experience as a professional architect, including more than 30 years with Bowie Gridley Architects, which he co-founded in 1981. He has also been honored with appointment to the GSA Design and Construction Peer Review Commission.

Elise has led numerous building design and campus master planning projects for public, charter, and independent schools and universities. She has deep experience in the range of building types common to academic institutions: teaching spaces, libraries, science and arts, sports, and dormitories.

Richard has more than 30 years of professional experience, including extensive experience in master planning and project management for institutional and private sector clients. He applies his broad knowledge to educational, cultural and civic projects of all sizes and types.

With more than 35 years of experience, Robert has served as a project architect on educational, cultural, and civic projects throughout the U.S. He started his career with design studies of numerous Broadway theaters, and renovation studies for the Vivian Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center.

With over 30 years of experience, Serena uses a people-centered and contextual design approach to deliver joyful and versatile learning spaces that enhance wellbeing. Her projects have won numerous local and international awards, been featured in books on school design, and exhibited in the Museum of the City of New York. She co-chairs the AIA New York Education Committee.
