Andrea is an interior designer known for her creativity and insights into how people respond to space. She is expert in creating beautiful spaces that support people in carrying out work, learning, and a full range of human activities across diverse project types.
She is particularly passionate about collaboration with team members and clients to make design and FF&E choices that support a client's mission. Her goal is to form spaces that serve as an asset to an owner's operational goals.
"I adore clients who care about their spaces. When you have someone who's really ready to look at how interior design can use function, mobility, comfort, beauty, and even forced interactions to really benefit the users of the space, it always leads to a design that's meaningful and that occupants appreciate."
Andrea has worked with Google to plan and design tenant improvements at its Kirkland campus to achieve 25 percent more effective workplace densities. She collaborated with the University of Washington for planning and design of the Allen Research Commons, a renovation of a former library space into a technology-rich research and collaboration center for students and faculty. She also was a member of the Clackamas Town Center design team for General Growth Properties that repositioned a 1.4 million SF mall into an International Council of Shopping Centers award-winning regional shopping and entertainment center.
