As an architect, Andy believes his job is to exhibit his intangibles and team-oriented approach, which are further developed through real-world application and learning from mentors over time. In an effort to be a “five-tool architect,” Andy strives to continue growing his skillsets in marketing, planning, design, construction, and management. These skills are demonstrated in his three target areas of practice: K-12, Higher Education, and Sports. Andy brings clear and valuable understanding of the DLR Group process and the coordination it entails to elevate the human experience through design.
“What I love most about my role is seeing integrated, process-driven teamwork that leads to a generation of new ideas and intriguing results – both of which allow us to derive design concepts that tell a story.”
These design concepts are rooted in Andy’s relationship with his clients. He goes to great lengths to ensure his clients’ visions are represented in the design. Andy’s successful experiences in education and sports have proven his innovative and driven commitment to his work.
