"I have found that design is at the core of every project-be it a large, complex new construction project or small renovation. I continue to find inspiration in the craft, and enjoy the challenges of bettering the quality of design service we offer to clients."
Costa is a skilled project manager with a portfolio of successful project delivery for a variety of higher education clients in California. He became intrigued by architecture while attending Pasadena City College and received a bachelor of architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
To gain practical construction experience, he worked for a general contractor hand-drawing presentation and construction documents, permitted drawings through the local planning and building departments, and served as a construction superintendent. Costa combines the meticulous coordination and production skills he learned while working as a contractor with excellent client and consultant communications.
"Integrated design is a co-mingling of diverse interests and technical resources into an appropriate design solution that proves to be resilient through time."
Costa has worked extensively on Los Angeles Community College District projects, including the new West Los Angeles Classroom and Student Services buildings. He also was the project manager for the UCLA Clinical & Translation Research Center.
