Emily Froese
“My passion for education runs deep. I believe that educators have one of the most difficult, yet most rewarding callings on the planet.”

Emily is an educational planner who help school districts and communities holistically respond to changes in the world that impact the overall experience for every learner. She brings a unique perspective to the team as a former teacher and campus administrator.

Through opening a 21st century campus, Emily understands the power of meeting individual students’ learning needs and creating a culture that empowers every educator. In a district leadership role, Emily took full advantage of the design process to implement inquiry-based learning. She is passionate about bridging learning and design, bringing deep experience to guide others along the same journey.

“I joined DLR Group to deepen my understanding of environmental design and its connection to instructional design. From my time in the classroom, I realized that educators must create environments that allow learners to achieve their greatest potential. And sometimes that occurs away from the classroom, like outdoors, in a gymnasium, a museum, or at home.”

Emily practices from the firm’s Dallas location and currently sits on the board of directors for a non-profit private school for children with special needs. She also is active in the Association for Learning Environments, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Texas Association of School Administrators.
