Jason is a K-12 designer with expertise in the planning and design of 21st century learning environments. Practicing from Charlotte, he leads visioning and community engagement processes for school districts, securing funding and creating successful road maps for the future. His portfolio includes new school construction, and facility modernizations and renovations for Pre-K and K-8 schools to major high school campuses.
Jason is recognized as an innovator in educational design and he associates some of his favorite career memories with the process of creating and designing. According to Jason, the people and process make a project come to life, and although design can be timeless, it should adapt as a school evolves
He is a mentor to young designers, challenging and provoking teams to arrive at new, progressive solutions that elevate education for students, teachers, and communities across the globe.
Jason has been recognized as a 40-Under-40 honoree by Engineering News Record Midwest and Building Design+Construction. He also is an active member of the Association for Learning Environments.
