Jennifer realized she was bound for the design industry in middle school when she suggested practical renovations to her parents’ house, and questioned the flow of her school’s design. She has transformed that enthusiasm and critical thinking into a rewarding interior design career.
Jennifer, who designs education, healthcare, and workplace environments, says she is energized by the integrated design process and prioritizes transparency and communication with project teams and clients. She considers the end user experience when designing a space.
“Moving into a new space can change someone’s perspective of their environment, and influence collaboration and flexibility among peers.”
She is committed to making a difference in both the industry and her local community. Jennifer is a board member of the Commercial Real Estate Women Iowa chapter and the Iowa Crime Stoppers Waukee chapter, and is a volunteer at the Des Moines Art Fest. She also was a member of the Waukee Leadership Academy in 2016 and the Greater Des Moines Partnership Leadership Academy in 2019.
