“What I love most about the arena of design mirrors what I like about life challenges that require a large amount of effort. There is a euphoric feeling that comes with accomplishments and goals that take both time and a strategic process to come to fruition.”

Kwame leads business development efforts for the K-12 Education studio, a role that allows him to develop and maintain strategic partnerships that advance brand awareness, firm growth, and client retention. Based in Washington, D.C., Kwame is responsible for establishing new relationships and managing existing clients to build the firm’s K-12 Education practice on the east coast. He is intimately familiar with local school district and community needs, having spent the majority of his business development career in the K-12 marketplace in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Kwame’s father, who built a successful architecture firm from the ground up, influenced his decision to explore a career in the design industry.

“Some of the best advice I ever received came from my father. He told me to start early and always finish what I started, two tenets of successful business development professionals.”
