Matt leads business development for the firm’s Retail/Mixed-Use Studio, managing and developing client relations, and cultivating project opportunities that match DLR Group’s integrated design expertise. He has a deep passion for creative and catalytic project opportunities that require a conversation beyond just architecture. Throughout his career he has developed a deep understanding of urban design and placemaking strategies that can be successfully incorporated into entertainment, hospitality, mixed-use, and retail developments.

Matt is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the ULI Entertainment Development Council, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He has spoken to national audiences on the topics of retail repositioning and experiential design approaches.
