Scott specializes in K-12 Education project management and design. He is especially passionate about delivering collaborative learning environments where students work together to solve global problems.
“My favorite project is the Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professionals (CAPS), a project that married both the building program and the education pedagogy to create an environment where students and facilitators excel.”
Scott is committed to sustainable design and he leads by example. He was a key member of the design team for the Blue Valley CAPS facility, which earned LEED Gold, and the Blue Valley CAPS Accelerator. He also served as project manager for the new Ewing Marion Kauffman School in Kansas City, Missouri, a 226,000-SF charter school that prepares urban students for college and helps them achieve at high academic levels.

Scott is active in the industry and the community. He is a member of the Kansas City AIA Chapter and a graduate of that organization’s Pillars Leadership program. He is involved in the City of Leawood’s Sustainability Advisory Board and the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce.
