Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel today, after a three-year renovation and expansion, once again serves as a respite from the ordinary.

Stepping inside the 100-year exterior, guests are immediately greeted in a residentially scaled ‘living room’ library.

Derived from its Second Renaissance Revival style, tactile details prosper amidst its several collective gathering spaces.

The Palm Room, a modern tea service lounge, is an unexpected jewel replacing the lost outdoor courtyard – during its 1984 renovation for office use.

Once a thriving upscale restaurant and legendary birthplace of the Schimmel Reuben sandwich, the new reinterpretation returns the namesake venue, Orleans Room, in a refreshed lens of modern sentiments.

Petit Orleans’ bright and airy design, with comfortable mint-green seating and Parisian-style marble bistro tables, is understatedly refreshing.

Classic elegance meets swanky contemporary here while pouring libations and cheers under a cottonwood tree.

The Committee is newly reinterpreted, introducing a modern steak forward venue with classic table side activations marking a return to the art of the Chophouse.
