Principal and National Business Development and Strategy Leader Carol Duke will share her museum-related knowledge at the 2023 International Association of Museum Facility Administrators 33^rd Annual Conference. In this interactive session, titled “Viewing Sustainability Through the Lens of Facility Managers,” participants will explore holistic sustainability categories beyond energy, including the health and well-being of occupants, indoor environmental quality, and materials to recognize how different building performance indicators relate to one another and address operational concerns. Finally, the participants will learn from a real-world example—the Cleveland Museum of Natural History—how operations and design teams have embraced these categories in their practice and design respectively.
