DLR Group to Present Augmented Reality Talk at USITT
Join our team at this year’s United States Institute for Theatre Technology Conference.
Principal and Innovative Technology Design Group Leader, Raymond Kent, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C, in partnership with the Digital Media Commission, will be presenting a session focused on “Designing Multi-Point Audio and Virtual Lighting in an Augmented Reality Environment,” which will explore using innovative audio and lighting technologies to elevate the audience experience.
Attendees will learn about opportunities to heighten storytelling with augmented and virtual reality though the lens of our recent Culture+Performing Arts projects that include:
- Cleveland Museum of Art’s “Revealing Krishna” exhibit, which uses technology to provide the context and history.
- Heard Museum Jacobsen Gallery “Substance of the Stars” exhibit, which uses technology to create an immersive experience.
- DLR Group’s demonstration at the Hispanic Museum of Projection Mapping and Augmented Reality in Spanish Harlem.
Raymond’s session will take place on Friday March 17, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in Room 264 at the America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, Missouri.
