  This session explores lessons learned and proactive strategies for engaging communities in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of exhibits and installations. Presenters will share candid insights from past projects that received challenging feedback and how those experiences shaped new tools, approaches, and practices for connecting with communities earlier in the process. This interactive workshop also invites participants to share and workshop their own challenges and strategies in a moderated discussion. Dan will be joined by Brittney Corrales, curator at ASU Art Museum, and Jill Snyder, museum consultant at Snyder Consultancy. The session will be moderated by Miki Garcia, director at ASU Art Museum.
