(Gahanna, Ohio, January 10, 2026) – Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools ushers in a new era of education as it opens the doors to Gahanna Lincoln High School. The ribbon cutting on January 10, 2026, marks the culmination of the district and community’s efforts to create a lasting legacy of academic and athletic excellence. Designed by DLR Group with the consultation of local partner Schorr Architects, the school welcomes its first cohort of students to kick off the district’s second semester.
The new school consolidates all academic and extracurricular programs under one roof to meet the evolving educational needs of students and educators. It features flexible, future-ready learning environments that support both academic instruction and career-focused experiences. The architectural theme draws inspiration from the area’s natural topography, incorporating elements of movement and water that reflect the three creeks intersecting in Gahanna.
The 500,000-SF high school accommodates 2,800 students in grades 9-12. The entire building emphasizes learning on display through visual connectivity and transparency. Light-filled classrooms and collaborative spaces support interdisciplinary learning. Core classrooms are organized into “prides” around open hubs, prioritizing close adjacencies with specialized CTE spaces.
