2025 marked the culmination of DLR Group’s five-year strategic vision for growth: in five years, the firm grew on a global scale, added nine offices and more than 600 design professionals, expanded specialty design services, and virtually doubled revenue from $279.6 million to $536.8 million.

“As I progress deeper into my career, I understand how very rare it is to have an opportunity to help lead a company that so strongly values its culture and people and has performed so well financially to be at a true inflection point of growth,” Mah said. “I’m energized by the prospect of shaping what’s next at DLR Group while mentoring the talented team around me.”

In his new role, Mah will be a member of DLR Group’s Executive Team and advise the managing principals on strategies to grow and expand financially while navigating global complexities and risk. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Head of Finance & Capital Markets for Highland Homes, a 100% employee-owned and Top 25 national homebuilder. He scaled all financial services capabilities to meet the increasing capital demands for the business and managed the $2+ billion revenue company’s annual budget and forecast. Prior to Highland Homes, he held senior financial leadership roles at CBRE and other publicly traded and privately held real estate companies.
