Podeyn holds a pair of master’s degrees from the University of New Mexico in architecture and public health. She uses this as the foundation for her career in design, understanding how the built environment affects learning, wellbeing, and community. For more than a decade, Podeyn has delivered transformational learning facilities to districts and communities that support the whole teacher and student experience.

Mentorship and sharing thought leadership with the next generation of learners and leaders is Podeyn’s passion. She serves on the Paradise Valley High School CREST Advisory Board, mentoring high school students in architecture and design thinking, and is a member of the AIA and Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women. She presents on pressing industry topics like ‘Healthy Eating Design Guidelines for School Architecture’ and shares best practices through regional A4LE events. Additionally, Podeyn previously taught architecture and design courses at Arizona State University and the University of New Mexico.
