Collins Cooper Carusi Architects joined DLR Group in August 2025. Based in Atlanta, CCCA’s community-focused expertise delivered award-winning design for the full lifecycle of education – from early learning, independent, and public schools, to higher education student housing and student life – as well as civic and recreational facilities for clients across the southeast United States.

Grounded in a philosophy of active listening and creative visioning, CCCA combined community building and modern design thinking for spaces where people gather to connect, reflect, and thrive. On top of their deep commitment to craft, CCCA’s designers honed a strong sense of family inside and outside the studio with mutual respect, camaraderie, and regular doses of humor.
Over the course of almost four decades, CCCA created thoughtful design solutions driven by local climate and culture for clients including University of Georgia, Emory University, and numerous public places such as Wormsloe State Park. Forming a lasting reputation for excellence, CCCA received design recognition from the AIA, IIDA, ALA, and other industry organizations, and were honored as Georgia AIA Firm of the Year in 2020.
Today, DLR Group’s robust portfolio in K-12 education, higher education, and civic sectors serves clients across the southeast United States with complementary offices including Charlotte, Durham, Nashville, and Orlando.
