Steven McKay is DLR Group’s chief executive officer. He leads the firm’s executive leadership team and is a member of the board of directors. He collaborates with senior leadership to craft the firm’s business strategy and elevate DLR Group design. A native of Scotland, Steven joined DLR Group’s Seattle office in 1996 and was the firm’s design leader from 2005 to 2020. He was instrumental in DLR Group being an early adopter of the 2030 Challenge, and an initial signatory of both the AIA 2030 Commitment and the China Accord. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects; a senior fellow and board member of the Design Futures Council; and serves on the Architectural Advisory Council for the Iowa State University College of Design.

John Fuller leads DLR Group’s operations around the globe as chief operating officer. He is a member of the executive leadership team and board of directors. John directs the firm’s operational resource management, business practices, design tools and processes, and project execution to enable design teams to elevate human experience through design. He collaborates with region, design discipline, client sector, and enterprise leaders to execute the firm’s business strategy, technical quality, project performance, and operational efficiency. He was previously the firm’s chief marketing officer and has spent his entire professional career at DLR Group.

Peter Rutti is DLR Group’s chief design officer and a member of the firm’s executive leadership team and board of directors. With a relentless focus on design excellence, he guides the firm in fulfilling its promise to elevate the human experience through design. He leads DLR Group’s integrated design practice and is deeply committed to fulfilling the firm’s climate and environment commitments through innovative, functional, and beautiful design. Peter is a passionate advocate for employee-ownership and the growth of design professionals. For more than 20 years, he has served as a guest juror at leading design schools across the West Coast and Southwest and has also contributed as a faculty associate in the Design School at Arizona State University. His recent projects include the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center, Heard Museum Renovations, Shenzhen Opera House SD Competition, and the University of Nevada - Reno, University Arts Building.

Pamela Touschner is DLR Group’s chief practice officer, a member of the board of directors, and on the executive leadership team. As chief practice officer, she leads the implementation and integration of firmwide initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the firm’s integrated design practice and directs the long-term strategic planning of the design practice. Pamela is an advocate for the profession, serving on the national AIA Board of Directors and in multiple AIA leadership positions in California. She is active in promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the architectural community and is a dedicated member of the National Organization of Minority Architects.

Adam St. Cyr is deeply committed to developing leaders and cultivating a culture in which employee-owners can thrive within integrated design teams to elevate the human experience through design. He leads operations in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and Kansas City offices as South Central Region Leader. As a member of the firm’s executive leadership team, he oversees DLR Group’s real estate portfolio and capital investment strategy and collaborates with senior leaders to shape operational strategy and intentionally build a cohesive, inclusive culture across the firm. Adam has led significant firmwide process improvements to project management systems, performance management, leadership development, and cross-office collaboration, positively impacting every level of the firm.

Audrey leads our firm’s interiors practice, guiding over 125 interior designers across the globe. She elevates the firm’s interior design by establishing standards and ensuring consistency across integrated design teams. She garners awards for her sustainable solutions. Audrey is also an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Lloyd leads the firm’s engineering practice and is a nationally recognized expert in integrated design and building optimization. He leads our full-service engineering discipline, collaborating with civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural engineering professionals to deliver design excellence for clients.

Jessica is our firm’s global leader of equity, diversity, and belonging. She develops and leads equity initiatives and outreach to ensure our culture and commitments resonate with all employee-owners, instilling an authentic sense of belonging. She is a member of the executive team and partners with firm leaders to move the firm to a consistently equitable, diverse, and inclusive design culture.

Ruairi leads our firm’s smart building service, leading high-performance design, energy modeling, simulations, and data metrics to deliver optimal performance for owners. He champions healthy buildings and indoor air quality as an active speaker and industry advocate. Ruairi also leads our Minneapolis office, championing culture and business acumen among its employee owners.

Patrick leads theater planning and design for our firm. He has a passion for advancing design and learning as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut and involved in the American Society of Theatre Consultants.

Lana leads our firm’s civil engineering team. An accomplished engineer and site planner, she is an expert in site selection, evaluation, and planning. With a dual education in architecture and engineering, she mentors civil engineers about integrated design from a multidisciplinary point of view.

William leads the design technology research team within research & development to propel innovation and project delivery. He researches and directs the testing and evaluation of emerging design technologies and workflows to advance our firm’s integrated design process.

David leads our firm’s landscape practice, exceling at master planning, facilitating community, and user group consensus for public projects. His work results in sustainable spaces on academic and corporate campuses, sporting venues, and mixed-use developments for clients and communities across the country.

Andy leads the marketing communications strategy for our firm. In this role he collaborates with firm leadership to guide the strategic evolution of our brand including internal communications, digital strategy and presence, public relations, and national partnerships and promotions.

Chris leads our firm’s science+technology services with over 30 years in design and planning of research, testing, and teaching lab facilities. Passionate about advancing scientific discovery, Chris is active in various organizations that promote the future of laboratories, education, and research facility design.

Maggie leads global marketing strategy for the firm’s design brand. She collaborates with discipline and service leaders to convey the value of our design while leading and mentoring a diverse team of marketing, pursuit, and digital professionals around the world.

Brian leads our Mixed-Use Sector for the firm. For over 35 years, he has led teams in the U.S., Dubai, and Shanghai. He collaborates with developers, real estate brands, and city officials to reimagine retail, housing, and office as equitable mixed-use developments to reenergize urban environments.

Don leads our firm’s Sports Sector. He was named a Power Player by Sports Business Journal for his influence in the industry and is one of the most respected sports architects in the country. He excels in leading professional and collegiate clients through the design process to advance the athlete and fan experience.

David leads the firm’s global Infrastructure Sector, leveraging his civil engineering and urban planning expertise in the planning and design of people mobility and goods movement systems. With over 35 years of experience, he understands the interrelationship between transportation, energy, and urban design in cities.

Dan leads our firm’s global Cultural+Performing Arts Sector. With over 20 years of experience, his clients include the University of Nevada Reno, Heard Museum, and SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center. Dan serves as a board member for the ASU Art Museum and is on the board of directors of the Western Museums Association.

Carmen leads our K-12 Education Sector. She uses her voice to amplify the firm's design impact, guiding teams to create transformative educational environments that empower students, support educators, and strengthen communities worldwide.

Michael leads the firm's delivery of programs and projects that serve and support our military branches and the needs of veterans. He brings over 35 years of government experience and prior leadership experience in A/E/C operations across CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Jeremy leads the firm’s Workplace Sector. He is a lead designer for many of our global technology clients, including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Microsoft. Jeremy leads studios across all locations to deliver workplaces that work for public and private sector clients.

Stu leads the firm’s Higher Education Sector. With a focus on advancing education for clients throughout his career, he is instrumental in shaping the design of university campuses. He collaborates with design teams and clients to explore how space and design can positively foster learning.

Joel leads firm operations, client service, and staff development for over 300 employee-owners in California. Working from Los Angeles, he coordinates with office leaders across California to deliver design excellence to public and private sector clients throughout the state and across the nation.

Curtis leads operations, client services, and staff development for our firm’s Central U.S. offices. His design expertise affects millions of students and teachers, guiding districts through all phases of project development.

Kwame leads the Mid Atlantic U.S. region, overseeing firm operations, client service, and staff development across our Charlotte, Durham, Nashville, and Washington, D.C. offices. His background in marketing and business development brings a unique community centered perspective to clients and a strategic growth focus to partners and peers. Kwame also leads our Washington, D.C. office, championing culture and business acumen among its employee owners.

Joseph leads the North Central U.S. region, overseeing firm operations, client service, and staff development across our Chicago and Minneapolis offices.
