$313 Million Clackamas County Courthouse Designed for Safety, Growth and Sustainability

Correctional News covers the opening of the new Clackamas County Courthouse, Oregon’s first courthouse built through a public-private partnership (P3). Designed by our team and delivered by Clackamas Progress Partners, the six-story, LEED Gold-targeted facility replaces the outdated 1936 courthouse to meet the demands of a growing population. With 14 flexible courtrooms, enhanced safety features, and sustainable elements such as mass timber and onsite energy generation, the courthouse sets a new standard for civic infrastructure.

Modern, spacious lobby area with a high ceiling clad in warm wood paneling, large circular recessed lights around tall, concrete columns. Large stairway in the distance
