The new Nochur Sankar Science Center welcomes students to Trinity Preparatory School, setting a new standard for STEM education on the campus. Our design prioritizes flexibility with adaptable spaces that support diverse learning environments. The key focus is celebrating scientific progress, curiosity, and exploration. State-of-the-art laboratories, the central learning stair, and the building’s exposed structure, materials, and systems encourage scientific discovery. By revealing the construction materials and integrated systems, students gain firsthand insight into the mechanisms that shape the facility.
Learning happens everywhere in this building, with dedicated spaces that support quiet study or collaborative learning. Open circulation provides visual transparency, connections to nature, and seamless interactions between teachers and students, while outdoor learning spaces and expansive campus views anchor students.
The building creates a new campus quad that functions as an outdoor learning space and establishes a new gateway to the western edge of the campus. An upper-level deck overlooks Lake Burkett and connects to the multipurpose space.
