Engineering News Record New York, commonly referred to as ENR New York, recently recognized St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, designed by Santiago Calatrava, with the prestigious 2023 Project of the Year award. DLR Group provided exterior and interior lighting design for the project.

The ENR Regional Best Projects Awards are a series of special events to celebrate and honor the building teams that created the best projects of the past year. Independent juries of industry leaders in design and construction from each of ENR’s 10 regional editions will judge the projects using five criteria, including safety, innovation and teamwork.

The captivating structure at the rebuilt World Trade Center won high praise from ENR New York Best Projects judges.
