(Park City, Utah, June 24, 2025) – A new lifestyle ski destination hotel is coming to Utah’s emerging Deer Valley East Village expansion in Park City. In partnership with the national real estate developer, Extell Development Company, Hilton has announced a new 180-key Canopy by Hilton hotel, the brand’s first property in Utah.

Designed by DLR Group and The Richardson Design Partnership, the hotel embraces the dynamic beauty of its natural surroundings and reflects the transition from a historic silver mining town to a premier international ski destination.

Perfectly positioned to overlook the Jordanelle Reservoir and Deer Valley Resort, Canopy at Deer Valley will offer unparalleled access to year-round recreational activities as well as a cozy atmosphere, a lively apres-ski experience, and a host of restaurants and amenities.

To complement year-round outdoor access, the hotel will include a curated suite of on-site amenities designed to encourage both relaxation and adventure, including a pool and hot tub, steam room and sauna, fitness center, and golf simulator. Additionally, guests can enjoy a dedicated ski reception lobby and ski locker room, meeting and conference facilities, as well as two levels of underground parking accommodating 176 stalls.

Canopy at Deer Valley plans to offer a robust food and beverage selection spanning over 9,600 square feet, including a signature destination restaurant, an apres-ski lounge, a grab and go coffee shop, and a rooftop lounge with gorgeous mountain views.

Situated 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, Deer Valley East Village, North America’s first luxury alpine village to be developed since 1981, provides a new portal into Deer Valley. The development’s long-awaited expansion will culminate in the 2025/2026 ski season when the resort will double its current skiable terrain, adding new chair lifts and ski runs. Upon completion, Deer Valley will boast over 5,726 acres of skiable terrain served by 37 chairlifts across 238 runs, securing its position as one of the largest ski resorts in North America. The new Deer Valley East Village portal will naturally connect visitors to this expanded terrain, offering an unparalleled mountain experience.

Canopy by Hilton at Deer Valley is expected to open by summer of 2026. DLR Group is providing interior design services.
