Tom is a core leader of the structural engineering team, working with teams across the country to deliver projects in a variety of markets. With experience in non-traditional and complex projects, Tom has mastered the art of integrated design team collaboration.

Peter Rutti is DLR Group’s chief design officer and a member of the firm’s executive leadership team and board of directors. With a relentless focus on design excellence, he guides the firm in fulfilling its promise to elevate the human experience through design. He leads DLR Group’s integrated design practice and is deeply committed to fulfilling the firm’s climate and environment commitments through innovative, functional, and beautiful design. Peter is a passionate advocate for employee-ownership and the growth of design professionals. For more than 20 years, he has served as a guest juror at leading design schools across the West Coast and Southwest and has also contributed as a faculty associate in the Design School at Arizona State University. His recent projects include SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center, Heard Museum Renovations, Shenzhen Opera House SD Competition, and the University of Nevada - Reno, University Arts Building.

Carmen leads our Global K-12 Education sector. She uses her voice to amplify the firm's design impact, guiding teams to create transformative educational environments that empower students, support educators, and strengthen communities worldwide.

Mark is a Design Leader in our Southwest region. His portfolio includes award-winning projects for justice, civic, and education clients. Empathy is at the forefront of his design work, creating public spaces with deep personal impact while delivering thoughtful, holistic solutions to complex challenges.
