DLR Group Unveils Design for Camping World Stadium

DLR Group has finalized the design for a $400 million modernization of Camping World Stadium in Orlando, a project intended to transform the venue into a more versatile destination for sports, entertainment, and community events. The 650,000-SF renovation will expand capacity to more than 65,000 seats while introducing upgraded fan amenities throughout the stadium.

A centerpiece of the redesign is the new North Endzone Tower, which will enclose the seating bowl, improve circulation, connect suite and terrace levels, and add premium hospitality offerings. The project also includes renovated concourses, new dining options, upgraded suites, enhanced audiovisual technology, retractable seating to support larger concerts and quicker event conversions, and a programmable illuminated façade designed to create a stronger visual identity for the venue.

Commissioned by the City of Orlando in partnership with Orange County and Florida Citrus Sports, the modernization aims to preserve the stadium’s legacy while positioning it to attract a broader range of national and international events. Project leaders say the investment will boost economic impact, create jobs, and strengthen Central Florida’s sports and entertainment ecosystem for decades to come.
