A new performing arts center at Crandall High School opens the door for expanded opportunities for students and community members alike. Made possible by a community-backed 2022 bond referendum, the new center strengthens the district’s thriving music, theater, and fine arts programs. Situated near existing fine arts and athletic areas, the PAC anchors the creative heart of the campus. Our centerpiece design is an 800-seat auditorium supported by a full suite of theater arts spaces consisting of dressing rooms, rehearsal areas, and backstage support designed for real productions. A state-of-the-art sound and lighting system positions the facility to host the University Interscholastic League’s competitions during the fall and spring seasons, making it a regional destination for scholastic performance events across the county.
In addition to the new PAC, other improvements include drives and dock access for performers, equipment, band vehicles, and supporting equipment. The Performing Arts Center and supporting facilities celebrate the performance accolades of students and is positioned to serve the community for years to come.
