(Cleveland, Ohio, November 3, 2023) – AIA Cleveland recently recognized DLR Group’s The Ohio State University Arts District project with the prestigious 2023 Merit Award in the Interior Architecture category.

The Interior Architecture category highlights impactful building interiors making their mark on the cities, places, and spaces where we live and work. It celebrates the most innovative and spectacular interior spaces.

Each year, AIA Cleveland recognizes excellence in design by inviting Cleveland-based architecture firms to submit their best work to be reviewed by nationally renowned juries from all over the country. The Design Awards program received a total of 84 entries across six categories – Student Projects, Makers, Unbuilt Projects, Small Projects, Interior Architecture, and Architecture – 22 of which were honored with awards.

On Friday, November 3, the DLR Group team accepted the award at AIA Cleveland’s annual Awards Program at the Cleveland Public Auditorium.
