Ranked the #1 Cultural Design firm by BD World Architecture, our firm has been selected as the Broadway Theatre District’s design and planning consultant for Luen Mei Real Estate’s new Hongqiao master planned complex project. Encompassing several venues, we will design multiple performance spaces for this significant project.  

Located within the Shanghai Transportation Hub area, the Broadway Theatre District project is situated near one of the world’s largest exhibition centers, major commercial and housing developments, and a multimodal transportation hub that connects hundreds of millions of residents and visitors to the area.  

The Broadway Theatre District project includes design of several venues in the first phase. Considered “the theaters of the future,” the venues will incorporate 3D mapping projection, holograms, virtual and augmented reality, and real-time broadcasting, as well as the ability to transform to multiple configurations. Upon full completion, the Luen Mei Hongqiao Theatre District is expected to include 21 venues in total, making it one of the largest multi-use theater and entertainment districts in the world. Preliminary designs for the first phase Broadway Theatre District project are underway.
