A Career of Joy, Fearlessness, and Serendipity
A Career of Joy, Fearlessness, and Serendipity
For Women’s History Month, we are collaborating with the Design Voice Podcast to showcase inspiring stories from the firm. If you’ve ever wondered where the name of this podcast came from, it was actually inspired by a saying we have – that “everyone has a design voice.”
In the final episode of the Women’s History Month 2021 feature, host Catherine Meng interviews Sylvia Kwan, a principal based out of our San Francisco office. She has practiced in San Francisco for more than 40 years, is an AIA Fellow, and has served on AIA boards at both national and local chapter levels. She has received numerous awards and personal recognitions for her design and business achievements, including the San Francisco Business Times’ 75 Most Influential Women in Business, all while running her own practice and raising two sons.
