Wolf Springs Middle School is a learning environment designed to foster collaborative learning and community pride. Our design puts learning on display from exterior to interior: a framed glass gym reveals the activity within, while multi-colored sawtooth formations bring the arts to the forefront.
At the heart of the school, the flex box is a highly adaptable space equipped with retractable stages that transforms from a performance venue to an open classroom, supporting the district’s commitment to continuously evolve with student and program needs. Three distinct grade-level pods organize grade cohorts, each defined by vibrant color branding and “spirit tunnel” entrances that foster a strong sense of identity. Double-height collaboration zones within each pod support both small-group interactions and larger gatherings, encouraging diverse learning styles across the student body.
Our design weaves sustainability and adaptability throughout the campus. Abundant natural light and proximity to outdoor green spaces promote student wellbeing and environmental stewardship, while the multipurpose flex box extends the building’s capacity to serve educational and performance needs alike. Located north of its sister elementary school, Wolf Springs Middle School reflects the Blue Valley Schools’ aspiration for an innovative environment where students thrive academically and socially, with room to grow.
