DLR Group Expands Federal Services
(OMAHA, August 4, 2021) – DLR Group recently hired Principal Michael Huffstetler, DBIA, LEED-AP, as the federal client leader with a focus on expanding their services to the Department of Defense military branches of government. Huffstetler joins their national federal leadership team of Michael Minton, client leader focused on the Department of State, and Senior Federal Leader Jeffrey Fenimore, AIA.
Huffstetler’s 32-years of experience spans both public and private sectors in domestic and international work.
In addition to expanding contract capacity through the DoD, DLR Group’s history of military service extends back to the firm’s founding Principals, Dana, Larson and Rubel, who all three served in active duty. They then led the firm to embraced military design projects including multiple contracts at Fort Carson, Peterson Air Force Base, Offutt Air Force Base, the Madigan Army Medical Center, and most recently at the Joint Base Lewis McCord complex with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
“I’m excited to help shape the firm’s expanding federal programs. As a respected industry leader, DLR Group’s solid reputation will continue to support the expanding services to our DoD and military clients,” said Huffstetler. “I am very proud to build on the firm’s legacy support to AEC industry partners and government stakeholders with projects that impact our military service members and veterans.”
