Shannon is inspired by the rigor of architectural craft and thoughtful place-making in the Pacific Northwest. With a diverse background that includes architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and custom furniture design, Shannon’s drive for design excellence has led to a diverse range of experiences. These strengthen her disciplined and imaginative approach to problem solving and resolution at both micro and macro scales.

Lisa leads our K-12 practice in the Pacific Northwest. Her design teams deliver innovative school facilities for clients and communities across Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington state. She has dedicated her career to designing educational facilities that support life-long learning, ranging from pre-schools to colleges, universities and corporate learning centers. Through her work, Lisa has earned a national reputation as an advocate for 21st century learning environments, and a pioneer bringing sustainable design to schools. She has advanced research to prove the connection between design and student success, and shared knowledge with her field through presentations and publications.

Erica leads operations in our Seattle and Portland, with oversight of firm operations, client services, and staff development. With over two decades of experience at DLR Group, she has collaborated with hundreds of clients, impacting outcomes for healing, transformation, and equity within the justice systems.

As a leader in the Higher Education Studio, Jackie is responsible for collaborating with design and planning teams to grow our firm’s presence in the Pacific Northwest. Jackie brings a unique perspective to the team. Her background in architecture, campus planning, and capital management gives her a deeper understanding of ways to effectively meet institutional needs with the flexibility to address the unknowns of the future. Whether designing a new gateway to campus, or planning critical infrastructure upgrades, she believes every project has the ability to positively impact the student experience on campus.
