A Future for Mass Timber in Hospitality
We have been recognized as one of three Responsible Disruptors in Metropolis Magazine’s second-annual Responsible Disruptors program for the Mass Timber Innovation: The Hospitality Prototype.
The Hospitality Prototype's greatest accomplishment may be that it enables us to see the future of design in this industry.
Widely known for our mass timber workplace expertise, we’ve expanded our vision for the material to create positive change, or disruption, that encourages healthy innovation in architecture and design. Our mass timber hotel prototype addresses a new use for mass timber in design that enables the built environment to imagine new opportunities in hospitality for mass timber. The prototype strives to increase the adoption of mass timber, a sustainable construction material, by proving that it is affordable, appealing, and accessible and disproving its common misconceptions.
