Join our team at the upcoming Construction Management Association of America, commonly referred to as CMAA, Virtual Event.

Senior Principal and Chief Climate Officer Prem Sundharam, AIA; Principal and Campus Planning Leader Linsey Graff; and Principal and Higher Education Leader Leigh Anne Jones, AIA, LEED AP BD+C; will be presenting a session titled “Equitable Sustainability Planning Across Three Different Campus in One District.”

They will be accompanied by Mehran Mohtasham, Director of Capital Planning, Facilities Planning, and Development at Riverside Community College District, commonly referred to as RCCD. The virtual event will be moderated by Hussain Agah, MSCE, PMP, CCM, LEED, Associate Vice Chancellor, Facilities Planning and Development at RCCD.

The session will explore RCCD’s holistic and innovative approach to sustainability and climate change across 3 unique campuses-each at different levels of understanding and implementation abilities, to creating the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan data-driven components within it, and lessons learned along the way to Board Approval.

The S-CAP is a state-of-the-art implementable roadmap toward their sustainability goals and establishes RCCD as a leader in Environmental Stewardship. It is aligned with the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education Stars, a reporting framework connecting sustainability in the built environment and academics. The S-CAP includes an Integrated Energy Master Plan, a Total Cost of Ownership Model, and dashboards developed to review real-time progress.

Prem, Linsey, Leigh Anne, and Mehran’s virtual session will be held on Wednesday, May 22 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM PST. Continuing education credits are available for this event. The cost is $55 for CMAA members and $85 for non-members. Owners and student members will receive free admission.
