
Awards Underscore DLR Group’s Excellence in Interior Design
(Omaha, Neb., July 24, 2025) – The global integrated design firm DLR Group received significant recognition for its interior design work in 2025. The firm’s geographic and market sector diversity is underscored by more than 15 awards recognizing education, government, hospitality, and workplace design.

The firm was named Interior Design Firm of the Year by the Commercial Interior Design Awards: Saudi, which also named Canopy by Hilton the Point as Best Interior Design Concept of the Year: F&B. The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club was named by Forbes as one of the Best Hotel Bars for 2025.
The firm also received numerous awards from the International Interior Design Association:
- Two Best in Show honors included the IIDA’s Great Plains Chapter for Gretna East High School and the Texas/Oklahoma Chapter for Tomball ISD Early Excellence Academy.
- IIDA’s Florida Central Chapter recognized the firm with Best of Year and Best of Hospitality awards for AC Hotel Naples, as well as Best of Government for the Pinellas County Justice Annex.
- Swarthmore Dining Commons was celebrated in the “Serve” category by IIDA Rocky Mountain, which also honored SRAM in the Workplace Over 60K category.
- The Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex earned an Honorable Mention in the “Engage” category from IIDA Ohio/Kentucky, while the Great Plains Chapter awarded an Honorable Mention to Boys Town Education Center.
Beyond project excellence, DLR Group plays a leading role in shaping the future of the interior design profession through service and leadership across the IIDA and the Urban Land Institute:
- Associate and Senior Interior Designer Katy Imhoff, IIDA, serves as chapter president of IIDA’s Rocky Mountain Chapter, alongside Interior Designer Katie Casebier, IIDA, who serves as vice president of student affairs and Senior Associate and Senior Interior Designer Liz Pelletier, IIDA, vice president of city centers.
- In IIDA’s Texas/Oklahoma Chapter, Principal and Interiors Leader Linda Mann, LEED AP, brings advocacy to the forefront as vice president of advocacy for Texas.
- Senior Associate and Interior Designer Jonathan Chow advances programming in the Northern California Chapter as vice president of special events.
- Associate and Senior Interior Designer Jade Li, IIDA, serves on the executive board of IIDA’s Southern California Chapter.
- Senior Associate and Interior Designer Rachel Andersen, IIDA, holds the role of president-elect in the Great Plains Chapter.
- Principal and Senior Interior Designer Abbey Cwiek-Garrett, IIDA, contributes her expertise as a board member for the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Product Council.
